Who we are​

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise the Girl child and create a better future for them.

Stand Up For Girl Child Uganda is a nonprofit organization committed to transforming the lives of disadvantaged girls in Uganda. By focusing on education, healthcare, and leadership development, we aim to break down the barriers that prevent girls from reaching their full potential. Our mission is to empower girls to live with confidence, dignity, and the opportunity to shape their own futures. Since 2017, we have impacted over 5,000 girls across Uganda, fostering a generation of future leaders and change-makers.

Our work extends beyond providing immediate support; we are building long-term solutions through community involvement, advocacy, and sustainable programs that address systemic challenges like malnutrition, child marriage, and gender inequality. At Stand Up For Girl Child Uganda, we believe that when a girl is empowered, her family, community, and country are empowered too.
